Even / odd balance
Breakdown by decade
97.5 % % of draws touch at least three different decades: spreading numbers across several tens remains the most common structure.
Consecutive runs
376 draws (26.3 % %) contain at least two consecutive numbers. That is a good argument for avoiding overly long runs in your lines.
Numbers carried over from one draw to the next
On average, 0 number(s) from the previous draw come up again in the next one.

Do hot numbers have a better chance of being drawn?
No. Every ball has exactly the same probability at every draw. Hot numbers only describe the past of the analysed history.
Why do the statistics only cover the current matrix?
The matrices changed (5/59 + 1/35 before October 2015 for Powerball, 5/75 + 1/15 before October 2017 for Mega Millions). Mixing those periods would distort frequencies and sums.
What is a number's gap or overdue count for?
It shows how many draws have passed without that number appearing. It is descriptive only: mathematically it does not make the number any more likely.
How are the sum ranges calculated?
The sums of the five numbers are grouped in bands of 50 (100 β 149, 150 β 199, etc.) to show where the real distribution of draws is concentrated.
